Braided English Bridle Leather Lead

These leads are hand cut from a 4 to 4.5mm thick English bridle leather hide.

Having been hand cut from the hide, the trigger clip and handle ring are cast from solid brass and are secured to the body of the lead by 'braiding', which essentially fuses the body of the leash back onto itself, making for a very secure fitting and one which is aesthetically very attractive.

I recommend braiding for my 1/2 and 3/4 inch leads only. Although I can braid the 1 inch leads, due to the width of the leather, the detail of the braiding is often lost, appearing slightly bulky.

All leads come with a solid brass handle ring as standard and at no extra cost to you.

These leads are made to order. You have a choice of length (4, 5 or 6 feet) and width ( 1/2, 3/4 and 1 inch) Each lead has an 8 inch handle and is finished with a bevelled edge, dyed and burnished to compliment the colour of the leash body. A single crease which runs the entire length of the skin side of the leather gives that understated, professional look.
