Orders and Shipping

So you've placed your order, what happens next??

Every single item that leaves my workshop is made individually by hand, by me, one person, from scratch with a passionate attention to detail. Demand for my products is always very, very high.

Because of this, I ask that you allow roughly 6 to 8 weeks for me to do this and get it in the post for you.

During busy periods and at busy times of the year such as (but not exclusively) Christmas, there may be a longer delay depending on demand.

Once you have received an 'order confirmation' email or text message, then your order is definitely on my list of things to make. Your order will move up that list when each order placed before yours is completed.

Your order will not be made before any other order that was placed before yours.

Once your order has been made and posted, I will send you the Royal mail tracking number for reference purposes.

Bespoke items may take longer for me to make, depending on the customisations and metal ware required.

Once made, your item will be packaged and taken to my local Post Office where within the UK, Royal Mail first class recorded delivery is used to safely carry your item to you. I will provide you with a tracking number in the email I send once your items are posted, so that you know when to expect your package.

Outside of the UK, all items are dispatched using your country's equivalent 'signed for' postage service. I will not send items unless a 'signed for' service is used.

Once your item arrives.....

When your collar or lead arrives, first of all stop smelling the fresh, new, shiney leather! Once you've done that, simply put it on your dog and go for a walk!

A note on postage.....

My minimum UK postage charge is £5.60. This is to cover the postage and packaging charges for items weighing up to 2kg (4.4lb) in weight.

I also offer the following, based on total order value;

UK - Free postage on orders over £100.00
Mainland Europe - Free postage on orders over £150.00
USA and Canada - Free postage on orders over £250.00

All items are sent via Royal Mail or 'Parcel Force' 'Recorded Delivery'.

Please note that I am not responsible for any importation charges that the destination country charges.

Once your item is in the hands of the postal service, the only method of tracking your package available to me is via the unique tracking number I would have provided to you upon its dispatch. If you have received confirmation from me that I have posted your item and it doesn't arrive when you expect it to, please refer to the postal service item tracker in the first instance.

Your package will contain a printed invoice which will contain a return address. If for whatever reason you are not happy with your item, then please return it to the address on the invoice within 14 days of receiving it. Returns will only be accepted if the item is in it's original condition (i.e unused and unmarked) and packaging. For further information on returns, please read my Returns Policy.
